Welcome to the new Sydney and Parramatta QBE workspaces. The product of 2 years of collaborative planning, design, and construction is complete and open for business in 2021. QBE previously had multiple smaller offices of various levels of quality spread across the Sydney metropolitan area. The employee and customer experience was widely inconsistent, which was the catalyst for developing these two premium and centralised workspaces in Sydney and Parramatta. Technology features heavily across the combined 18 levels in the two buildings. Prior to today, QBE staff struggled with up to five different types of meeting space technologies in a single office. The konnectus team has streamlined the tech to a single solution for all spaces. End users can walk into any type of meeting space and launch the technology in seconds. One touch operation. Highly reliable and super easy to use! QBE have made nearly all spaces video capable and see this functionality as a “must have” across all their workspaces. High quality AV technology in Focus rooms and Meeting spaces on all floors helps to keep people connected. Different sized open and closed collaboration spaces feature the Microsoft Surface Hub. This powerful collaboration tool packs interactive whiteboarding, Microsoft Teams, and easy screen sharing into one unit. QBE has deployed these across all of its offices to overcome geographic boundaries and bring teams closer together. Dual LCD screen project spaces feature across both buildings to provide teams with additional digital wall space. The two screens enable more effective group work, especially during multi site video calls. Each office has been designed with a series of large spaces that can be configured in different ways to cater for group training, presentations, and client entertaining. Walls can open and furniture be set up to provide great flexibility. The AV technology has been selected and positioned in the optimal locations to meet specific QBE requirements. The seamlessly integrated audio systems and speech tracking cameras make for optimal experiences in these rooms Cisco Telepresence suites built and designed to the QBE global standards deliver a uniform experience for the executive teams. QBE staff were provided in depth training on the technology, which provided them with the confidence to use it straight away and get immediate value in their day to day life at their new world class workspaces.
