Pacific National’s North Sydney headquarters set out to create a next-generation workplace that would streamline hybrid collaboration across two newly refurbished floors. Konnectus was engaged early to review the client’s draft audio-visual concept and quickly identified unnecessary complexity, duplicate equipment and user-experience gaps that would have driven up capital cost while confusing staff.

Our consultants led detailed discovery workshops with Pacific National’s IT, workplace and executive teams. Using our Balanced AV methodology, we translated business objectives into a unified technology roadmap that treated every space—boardroom, huddle room, divisible training suite, breakout zone and reception—as part of one consistent ecosystem. The result is a single touch-panel workflow and familiar Microsoft Teams Rooms interface everywhere, eliminating the learning curve and slashing support tickets.

The design features adaptable DSP presets and networked video routing so the twin training rooms operate independently or combine into a 100-seat seminar venue at the press of a button. Occupancy sensors, room-booking panels and central dashboards feed real-time usage data back to facilities for ongoing optimisation. Detailed drawings, cable schedules and acceptance criteria empowered the AV contractor to build right first time, while Konnectus delivered independent commissioning to guarantee a zero-defect handover.

The final solution delivered a 30 percent reduction in AV capital expenditure compared with the client’s original self-specification and has maintained uptime since go-live in 2024.
