JLL Sydney Head Office
In early 2022 konnectus began working on this project with JLL. At the time their Sydney office was in the CBD and there were many complaints with the AV technology. Our team conducted multiple stakeholder workshops with a variety of people from different business lines and there were some clear issues to solve. The AV technology was not easy to use, it did not always work, and it did not work for MS Teams meetings.
JLL has some global AV design standards in place for their typical rooms (small, medium, large etc) and konnectus worked with the JLL team to make some subtle refinements to make the user experience simpler in all standard spaces. This resulted in JLL staff having confidence to use these systems from Day 1. They were set up to succeed!
There were some unique spaces in the project as well. One was called Innovation Suite and the other Presentation Suite. Following a proven approach, the konnectus team was able to help JLL get crystal clear on the use cases for these spaces, which was the key to developing the ideal designs and choosing the best fit technology. The desired outcomes for each space and the needs of the end users was always kept at the forefront during this process.
The Presentation Suite was an exciting space to bring to life for JLL. The space is designed to provide an immersive experience for JLL clients (in room and remote) and is able to add great value in helping clients to visualise future real estate assets. Four large display screens, multiple well positioned cameras and ceiling microphones, and flexible signal routing gives JLL many options when using this new technology asset. Perhaps one of the strongest features of the room is its ability to make remote participants on a video call feel included in the discussions even though they are not physically in the space.
